Ratings, in particular, can vary significantly across different communities. We advise you to use the ratings on AsianREV as a general guideline rather than a definitive score.

Due to our reliance on TMDB, we are subject to its data categorization. A notable issue is with the "Romance" genre. Many Asian dramas, especially from Korea and China, are romantic comedies, yet TMDB may not have a dedicated "Romance" tag for them. As a result, even if a drama is a romance, it might not be listed under that genre on AsianREV. We understand this can be frustrating and appreciate your understanding.

Similarly, the synopses provided by TMDB are often more concise compared to those on specialized databases like MyDramaList. They serve as a brief overview to give you a taste of the story. We encourage you to watch the first episode to get a true feel for the drama's plot and characters.

AsianREV does not host any video files on its servers. We simply provide an organized interface for you to find and watch dramas. The video player embeds content from third-party streaming websites. We are not affiliated with these websites, nor do we have any control over their content, availability, or legality.

Furthermore, we do not serve any advertisements on AsianREV (yet). If you encounter ads while watching an episode, they are being served by the third-party video host. We cannot control or remove these ads. We appreciate your understanding that these external services may use advertising to fund their operations.

Our library is built with your help! If you can't find a specific Chinese or Korean drama, please visit our "Request" page to suggest it. Your requests are essential for helping us expand our collection and serve the community better.
